Women And Children’s Entrance, 2014

LED lights, wood, ceramic tiles
Ground floor, Women and Children’s entrance, Royal London Hospital

Following on from her commission for children’s ward 7D Morag Myerscough has designed a colourful, inviting, playful space for the dedicated Women and Children’s entrance at the Royal London Hospital.

The space features an LED light with a welcome message that changes depending on the time of day interspersed with flashing geometric shapes, an oversized large spinning top that provides additional seating and inspired by the local community. Morag has designed vibrant screen printed ceramic tiles  leading to the lift lobby for the children’s wards.
