Catsou Roberts

Catsou Roberts is the Director of Vital Arts, which she joined in 2009. She brings decades of experience as an art professional to Barts Health. She advocates for raising the standard of Arts and Health, regularly writing and lecturing on the topic for both cultural and clinical audiences.

She has given presentations for the GLA, Tate, Venice Biennial of Architecture, European Medicines Agency, National Gallery, QMUL Medical Students, Portsmouth University, London Art Fair, Zaragoza Conference on Arts and Health, Wolfson Institute, KØS Museum, Denmark, London Design Festival, Bambino Gesù Hospital, Rome, CABE, and many others.

Catsou is a the Patient Experience judge for the Building Better Healthcare Awards. She has juried other awards, prizes, residencies, and public realm design competitions for the Wellcome Trust, Outset, William Morris Gallery, City of London, Contemporary Art Society, Clyde & Co. She has served in various art advisory roles, including for Maggie’s, Culture Mile BID, City of London, Tate Exchange and others.

Previously, Catsou was Senior Curator at Arnolfini, Bristol. She has also curated exhibitions in USA, France, Germany, Sweden, Canada, Ireland, and Spain. Catsou has lived and worked in USA, France, Germany, Japan as well as the UK.
