Press Roundup - National Portrait Gallery Loan

We were pleased to participate in the National Portrait Gallery’s project, Coming Home, which sees iconic artworks ‘come home’ to locations relevant to the subjects portrayed. Sam Taylor-Johnson’s portrait of David Beckham (David, 2004) is on loan from Dec 5 2019 – 22 May 2020 in the Ultrasound Department at Whipps Cross Hospital, where the footballer was born.

The project, which was made possible through collaboration with Waltham Forest Borough of Culture, received wide spread press coverage–from Canada to India, as well as the UK. Some extracts are featured below:
